Step 1
After receiving your new tattoo, please keep the bandage on for a minimum of two hours.
Step 2
After taking bandage off, wash with antibacterial soap and water. Pat dry with paper towels.
Apply Ointment
Apply thin layer of A&D; ointment or Aquaphor twice a day for two days after getting tattooed. If the ointment is shiny or sticking to your clothes, you’re using too much.
Step 4
After using the ointment for two days, switch to using an unscented lotion on tattoo twice a day for the next two weeks.
Step 5
During the healing process, absolutely NO PICKING AND NO SCRATCHING. This could severely damage the tattoo and cause infection.
